School Opening
We are happy to welcome you to the 2024-25 school year! We hope you had a restful summer and are ready to join us for an exciting year at Connaught Heights Elementary!
We are looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday, September 3rd. On this first day of school, Grades 1-5 students will attend from 8:50AM – 9:55AM. The gates will open at 8:40. Returning students are to line up outside their classroom from last year where their teacher will greet them, take attendance, and go over some details of the upcoming week. For our new students, please go to the office once you arrive, and a staff member will walk you to your classroom.
On Wednesday, September 4th, students will have their first full day of school (8:50AM – 3:00PM). Please pack a water bottle, snack, and lunch. Students will line up outside their classroom from last year and attendance will be taken. Students will be transitioned into their new classrooms throughout the day.
Families with Kindergarteners please refer to the Welcome Letter that was sent on Tuesday, August 27th.
If you know that your child will not be at school on the first day, please email the office to notify us. It is important for us to have a clear understanding of which children will be returning to Connaught Heights Elementary in September and which children are moving on to different schools.
