The Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) program assists newcomer permanent resident students and their families to adapt to life in Canada. They can give you information on things such as education, activities for youth, childcare & family programs, community engagement, employment skills for adults and youth, essential documents, health and well-being, financial literacy, housing, legal information and
