Week 5 COVID-19: Principal’s Update
April 24th 2020
I hope that you are all doing well and have had a great week. It was wonderful to see so many of you this week for our package pick-up. Our hope is that the materials in the package will help support the virtual learning that is already happening. If you have questions about the materials in the package please reach out to your child’s teacher for clarification. If you were unable to pick up your package on Thursday or Friday, please send me a quick email and let me know when you would like to come. If you are unable to come to the school, but could have your package dropped off please get in touch with me and we will coordinate a drop-off.
For this week, I’d like to share the following update:
April 27th – May 1st:
- Your child’s teacher will be sending home a weekly learning plan. Please do the parts that work for your family. If you have any questions please reach out to your child’s teacher.
- I have read a new, great story. To share it with your child/ren, you can go here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKx2QMd1vos
- The health and safety of our community of staff, students, and families is the top priority and we ask that you not visit the school at this time. If you wish to come pick up some essential belongings please contact me or your child’s teacher to make an appointment.
Please know that we are all here to support you and your children in any way that we can. Do not hesitate to reach out if there is any kind of support that we can provide.
Thinking of all of you,
