Week Summary for October 12 – 16
Dear Families,
I hope that you all have wonderful long weekends. It is hard to believe, but we are already part way through October. I thought this would be a good time to share information about Halloween. We will be celebrating Halloween at Connaught, so if you wish for your child to dress up they are welcome to. If your child’s costume has any loose parts I encourage you to keep them at home, as those do occasionally get lost at school. Remember that costumes cannot contain any weapons.
Every year Connaught does a Halloween parade. This year we are unable to meet in the gym, so we will be watching the weather. If the weather is good we will go outside and do the parade, but if the weather is not good we will have to cancel the parade for this year. Due to Covid-19 and the uncertainty around the parade, we are unable to have families attend this year.
The staff at Connaught is looking forward to a day filled with excitement. Please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s classroom teacher if you have any other questions about Halloween.
